Transformation Portfolio Stress Test™ — Results Report

Generated by The Helix Group LLC — thehelixgroup.net —

How it works

Add each of your active transformation programs — name, duration, team reach, and which of the 6 transformation clusters it touches. The tool calculates cumulative change load, detects cross-program dependency conflicts, and generates a sequencing recommendation using the ADAPT® framework. No other portfolio management tool understands transformation dependencies. This one does.

01
Add each active transformation program. Name it, describe it briefly, set duration and team count, and select which of the 6 clusters it touches.
02
The tool instantly maps cluster load, detects dependency conflicts, and scores your portfolio health — updating live as you add programs.
03
Generate an AI sequencing recommendation, then download a PDF of the full analysis to share with your leadership team.

Select every cluster your program meaningfully touches — not just its primary focus.

Add your first program to begin the analysis.
What this shows: Each of the 6 transformation clusters is tracked separately. The number shows how many of your active programs are touching that cluster simultaneously. 1 program = manageable. 2 = watch closely. 3 or more = overload risk — the organization receives competing mandates within the same domain, which creates signal confusion about what "good" looks like. The status label beneath each count tells you the risk level at a glance.
Cumulative Load combines cluster concentration, team reach, and program duration into a single pressure score — the higher it is, the more likely the organization will hit an absorption ceiling before programs complete. Conflicts counts structural dependency clashes between programs. Portfolio Health is the combined verdict based on both signals.

Healthy — low load, no conflicts Moderate — manageable with attention At Risk — conflicts detected or high load Critical — exceeds absorption capacity
What dependency conflicts are: Unlike scheduling conflicts (two programs needing the same people at the same time), dependency conflicts are structural — one program requires an organizational condition that another program is actively disrupting. These are the conflicts that tools like Jira, Planview, or Monday cannot detect, because detecting them requires understanding what transformation programs do to organizational conditions, not just to timelines and resources.

Conflicts appear here automatically as programs are added.

Sequencing recommendation — powered by the ADAPT® framework
Add at least two programs, then generate a sequencing recommendation. The analysis identifies which programs should run first, which should be paused, and where structural coupling is required.
