The ADAPT Platform

AI in ADAPT.
A thinking partner, not a decision-maker.

ADAPT uses AI differently from most platforms. It doesn't generate your content or tell you what to think. It asks harder questions, surfaces patterns you'd miss, and helps facilitators and practitioners do their best work — while keeping every significant decision firmly in human hands.

Our approach

Most platforms use AI to deliver content.
ADAPT uses AI to deepen thinking.

When you interact with AI in ADAPT, it isn't generating summaries of what you just read or giving you a pre-packaged answer. It's responding to your specific organizational situation — asking questions a skilled coach would ask, surfacing the tension in your thinking, and pushing you to apply what you're learning in your actual context.

"AI in ADAPT accelerates human thinking. It does not replace it."

psychology

Designed by practitioners

Every AI interaction in ADAPT was designed by experienced transformation practitioners who know what good coaching and facilitation looks like. The AI delivers that expertise — at scale, in your context.

person

Human judgment at the center

AI in ADAPT generates analysis, asks questions, and surfaces patterns. What you do with any of that is entirely your call. No AI in ADAPT evaluates your performance or makes decisions about you.

build_circle

Purpose-built for each role

The AI Learning Coach, the AI Facilitator Assistant, the Diagnostic Analyzer, and the Quest Advisor each have a specific purpose and specific boundaries. None of them is a generic chatbot.

Six specific roles

AI has a defined job in every part of the platform.

ADAPT doesn't use AI as a general-purpose assistant. Each AI interaction has a specific role, a specific context, and specific things it will and won't do.

Coaching · Every module

AI Learning Coach

Embedded in every module's Coach tab. Responds to your specific organizational context — not generic advice. Asks the questions a skilled coach would ask: what assumptions are you making? What would need to be true for this to work in your organization? Where's the tension in your thinking? It challenges rather than affirms.

groups
Facilitation · Facilitator tier

AI Facilitator Assistant

Available to facilitators in every module's Facilitator tab. Helps with session preparation — generating discussion prompts, debrief questions, and cohort synthesis based on the module content and what the facilitator tells it about their group. Supports the facilitator's judgment; does not direct the session.

analytics
Analysis · Every module

AI Diagnostic Analyzer

Scores your 7-question module diagnostic and generates a four-section personalized analysis: your strongest area, your most critical gap, your primary risk, and your first 90-day focus. The analysis connects your specific scores to the module's content. What you do with the analysis is entirely your decision.

flag
Experiment design · Quest system

AI Quest Advisor

Reviews your Quest design before you run it in your organization. Asks questions you may not have considered: what are you assuming about your team's readiness? How will you know if it worked? What could go wrong? A thinking partner for experiment design — not an approver. You decide whether to adjust your Quest.

build
Diagnosis & design · ADAPT Toolkit

Toolkit AI

Powers the analysis and output generation across all 51 ADAPT Toolkit tools. Takes your inputs — survey responses, organizational data, decisions you've made — and generates analysis, frameworks, and recommendations. Every output is a starting point for human judgment, not a finished answer. You apply, adapt, and decide.

bolt
Pattern recognition · Intelligence layer

Intelligence Agents

Automated agents that monitor learning activity, tool outputs, and Quest results across your organization — and surface patterns that would otherwise go unnoticed. Delivers weekly digests, facilitator briefs, and cohort signal alerts. Surfaces signals. Never makes decisions. Every action taken on any signal is a human decision.

Boundaries

What AI does — and what it doesn't.

Being clear about what AI does not do is as important as explaining what it does.

AI does not

cancel Evaluate your performance or affect your standing in the program
cancel Make decisions about you or your organization
cancel Retain memory of your conversations between sessions
cancel Build a persistent profile of you that influences future interactions
cancel Replace your facilitator, your cohort, or your own judgment
cancel Generate the curriculum — readings, session guides, and Quests are written by human practitioners
cancel Direct your Quest — it asks questions, you decide how to run the experiment
Practitioner expertise

The AI didn't design itself. Practitioners did.

ADAPT doesn't use generic AI. Every AI interaction in the platform — what the Learning Coach asks, how the Diagnostic Analyzer structures its output, what the Quest Advisor looks for — reflects deliberate design decisions made by experienced transformation practitioners.

The questions Claude asks in the coaching tab aren't random. They're the questions a practitioner with decades of transformation experience would ask. The four-section diagnostic analysis structure reflects how a skilled coach would frame feedback. The Quest Advisor's prompts reflect what experienced practitioners know about how organizational experiments fail.

That practitioner expertise is what makes ADAPT's AI interactions genuinely useful — and what separates them from a generic chatbot responding to the same prompt.
