What the ADAPT program produces.

Practitioners who engage with ADAPT across multiple paths and clusters develop an integrated capability set that no single path produces. These program-level outcomes emerge from sustained engagement with the ADAPT method, the Quest system, and the cohort learning environment.

Three levels of outcome.

ADAPT learning outcomes are defined at three levels. Each level builds on the one above it — module objectives contribute to path outcomes, and path outcomes contribute to cluster outcomes.

Cluster outcomes

The 4–5 integrated capabilities that emerge from completing multiple paths within a cluster. These are the practitioner-level capabilities that justify the cluster’s strategic investment.

What a practitioner will be able to do on completing a full path. Described as behavioral capability — not knowledge acquired, but capability demonstrated in organizational context.

  • Identify the structural, process, and cultural factors producing misalignment

On completing this module, practitioners will be able to:

  • Map the relational field in which a coaching client is operating and identify the systemic forces affecting their development

  • Evaluate AI tools as legitimate coaching partners with specific capabilities and limitations
  • Design hybrid coaching approaches that use AI for specific coaching tasks while preserving human connection for others
  • Identify the ethical considerations of AI in coaching contexts — privacy, bias, dependency, and boundaries
  • Apply AI-augmented debriefing tools to increase coaching session effectiveness and accountability
Quest: Quest: Use an AI coaching tool deliberately as part of one coaching engagement this month. Design how you will introduce it, what tasks you will use it for, and how you will evaluate its contribution. Report what happened.
On completing this module, practitioners will be able to:
  • Apply coaching supervision frameworks to support the development of coaches you are responsible for
  • Design peer supervision structures that create accountability without hierarchy
  • Identify the patterns in coaching practice that typically go unexamined without supervision — blind spots, countertransference, and scope creep
  • Evaluate the developmental needs of coaches at different experience levels and design appropriate supervision accordingly

  • Design a leadership transition plan for a critical organizational role that embeds capability rather than centralizing it
